Riverfire - Brisbane Festival

Riverfire will kick off the Brisbane Festival from Saturday 31 August 2024.

If you plan to visit South Bank for the Riverfire event, please visit the Brisbane Festival website for information about times, accessibility, road closures and FAQs. 

As part of South Bank's conditions of entry, visitors are not permitted to bring portable structures including tents and marquees, except small domed structures (no larger than 1m in height, structure should be self-supporting). Visitors are also not permitted to use pegs or stakes in the ground, or tie to structures/trees. 

We encourage visitors to the Riverfire event to be mindful of these conditions of entry to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
