South Bank visitors have the opportunity to learn about growing and cooking their own produce with the introduction of the Epicurious Garden to its grounds.
The ornamental and productive garden in the heart of the South Bank Parklands was designed to educate and inspire the home gardener, with fresh seasonal produce harvested regularly and free samples available for tasting as the produce grows.
Its name is a play on the word 'Epicurean' and refers to someone who is in constant pursuit of great food, drink and adventure.
The unique space is maintained by a team of dedicated staff and volunteer gardeners who have been recruited for their specialised knowledge in order to maintain a high horticultural standard.
