Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre Expansion

The BCEC underwent a major expansion in 2011 and was officially launched in January 2012.

The scope of expansion works was significant and increased the Centre's exhibition space by 52 per cent, allowing it to host an additional 250 events per year.

Expansion works also included the addition of 18 new meeting rooms, a ballroom, extensive outdoor terrace areas and two state-of-the-art auditoriums, (designed specifically for smaller events) together with restaurant and retail areas on the ground level.
